MALIBU, Calif. — Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies mobilized late Friday night following a trespassing incident at the gated seaside residence of former Vice President Kamala Harris, where private security officers intercepted an unauthorized woman before she could reach the main home.Harris and her husband, former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, were away from the residence when the security breach occurred at their Point Dume property.
Deputies assigned to the Lost Hills sheriff’s station were dispatched at approximately 10:30 p.m. following a distress call from on-site private security guards reporting an active intruder. According to department officials, security personnel intercepted the woman on the grounds well before she reached the perimeter of the primary structure.
