\nThe condition affects 1 in 500 000 people and increases the risk of developing skin cancer, but other than that, the effects are only cosmetic.
\nBecause of her son\u2019s spots, Stephanie feels guilty every single day.<\/p>\n
She explains, \u201cYou know, you spend ten months doing everything you can to have a healthy and perfect pregnancy, and then you think you did something wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stephanie understands that her son is unique and that this will have an impact on their life. However, the family is currently working to spread the word about their son\u2019s unusual illness.<\/p>\n
